Visit Bolivia

It was the first time I visited the Astucopecha community tourism enterprise located in Escoma - Lake Titicaca and I was pleasantly surprised to find very beautiful landscapes from the other side of the Lake. We carry out very interesting activities such as Flamingo sighting on the Lake! Plus another 20 different types of birds. We also traveled by boat to visit different islands, such as Campanario Island where we did a small trek. In addition, we had the opportunity to meet the local people since we stayed in their homes and they made us feel welcome. I hope to return to Escoma soon!

My trip to Escoma and Isla Campanario exceeded my expectations. I know many corners of Lake Titicaca but in this place it has been possible to identify and take advantage of the attractions that make it a unique destination. The bird sanctuary is very special; I liked being able to see so many species coexisting peacefully and I never thought I would see so many flamingos in Lake Titicaca! I loved the walk we did on Campanario Island, the view is spectacular and when we sat down to contemplate the view, I could feel all that good energy that the lake transmits. For me it was a very nice moment. And I believe that this experience would not have been the same, if it were not for our guide Miguel; a very warm person, who shows the love he has for his community and manages to convey it in each explanation. I recommend doing this tour and would definitely love to go back!

Visit Bolivia certainly made our 4 week trip thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. Every single travel plan was well planned and expertly selected. They all went to plan which was hugely reassuring to us. It enabled us to sit back and enjoy the ride!! No stress and plenty of photos and memories to look back on.
